God's word is a shield
“Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, And yet is not washed from their filthiness.” Proverbs 30:5, 12 KJV

How does God see you? Does heaven’s record of you match with your own perception? The Bible tells us using a parable of those that will stand at the judgement throne and tell of so many great things that they have done in God’s name and yet the answer God would have for them is ‘Depart from me ye workers of iniquities’. The Bible reading today tells that there is a generation that is pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleaned of their filthiness. This therefore highlights the need to always check in to ensure that heaven’s record of us match our earthly status because in the final analysis, that is the only record that counts.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you rule on the affairs of men. Please Lord, I come before your throne of mercy to repent of every know and unknown filth in my life. Please purify me and make me fit for your kingdom use O Lord. Please let me life thrive in the purity that time in your presence affords in Jesus Name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
