God's word won't fail

โ€œAnd he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; as it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.โ€ Luke 3:3-4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.3.3-4.kjv

God's word won't fail

God watches over his words to perfect it. This is why the Bible tells us that the vision is for an appointed time and though it tarries we should wait for it because it will surely come to pass at the right time. The Bible reading today is one example of such fulfillment of prophecy or promise. When John came into the fullness of his assignment as Jesus Christโ€™s forerunner, the Bible records that it was the fulfillment of that which had been written by Prophet Isaiah decades prior. God is intentional and he sees the end from the beginning, hence he is able to give promises way ahead of time.ย  Some timing may not span decades or centuries as was the case in this instance. It may be months or years out or even days. However rest assured that if God had promised then he will bring it to pass in His time and it would be unarguable. You just have to trust and wait on him.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the reliable and dependable promise keeper. The one who says a thing and it must come to pass. Lord, I lean on you and your promises. I receive the beautiful completion in due season in Jesus name ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ. โ€Ž
