God can't behold Inquity

“This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;” Deuteronomy 26:16-18 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.26.16-18.kjv

God can't behold Inquity

How often do you check the terms of the covenant of the promises of God to us as his children. The Bible is full of many promises for the children of God but often each one was made within the context of an exchange with the primary beneficiary. A promise of obedience, actual acts of sacrifice, giving, commitments amongst others are some such acts from the individuals. Often, we are quick to claim the promises but those only work when we fulfill God’s expectations. An example is seen in the Bible reading today when God called Israel out to be a peculiar people unto him to show forth his glory with many promises of victories and blessings.  However, the Israelites also made a vow to live in complete obedience before God. So are there certain promises that we are quoting that don’t seem to work for us? Go back into the manual of life and through the help of the HolySpirit to see what the terms are. Note that our God is a God of mercy and he sometimes breaks protocol but the Bible also asks… “Shall we continue in sin that the grace of God may abound?”. The answer - God forbid.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for the blessings that you have promised. Please Lord open my eyes to know your expectations of me so that I be a full beneficiary of your promises in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
