Has God found you worthy?
“And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD. Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.” 2 Chronicles 19:2-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ch.19.2-3.kjv

Saved by the bell. King Jehoshaphat narrowly escaped death from wrong associations. He had gone with the King of Isreal to war and after the escape, he had returned home to a stern warning from God. God was angry with him for associating and helping someone who was against the Lord. The only saving grace for him was the fact that good had been found in him. He had shown his love and respect for God and was making sure that the people of Judah followed God’s ways. He had removed a lot of the markers of past sin so that he and the people could seek God. So the key question today is: How much have you wet your grounds with God? Does God look into your heart and see one that is truly passionate about the things of God? If not, you need to repent and retrace your steps. In addition, the question then will be: Who and what are you associating with? The Bible tells us that the companions of fools will be destroyed. Jehoshaphat almost fulfilled that if not for the mercy of God. Check your connections today and do a detox.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and loving kindness always. Please teach and lead me according to your will. Help me to know your will and do your will. Deliver me from ungodly alliances destined for destruction in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
