Have you found God?
“And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day. Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king's hand. But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?” 2 Chronicles 18:4-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ch.18.4-6.kjv

In these last days where there are so many false prophets, it is important that we are able to discern the specific word of the Lord and that comes from a place of fellowship with God. In the Bible reading today, King Jehoshaphat of Judah had gone for a visit with King Ahab of Israel and had been invited to accompany him into battle. However, while he was happy to go, he asked that they sought God’s face about the trip - the first right step. However, the king brought 400 prophets who endorsed the trip. But Jehoshaphat was not convinced, he asked if there was someone else, a prophet of the Lord. So it begets the question of why Jehoshaphat did not think that the 400 were speaking the word of the Lord. Well, despite the one sound of warning from the prophet Michaiah he still went to the battle with King Ahab and almost became a casualty of the battle if not that he cried out quickly. I guess the warning note from the prophet still rang in his subconscious so he was quick to lose the disguise as king of Isreal because he could see the indications of the prophecy beginning to happen. So, the question for you is: Are you able to recognize God’s word? Are you easily swayed by the multitude or do you seek God further to get peace on the matter? Also, when you get the instruction from God even when it does not align with your plans, what do you do? May we not join the multitude into destruction in Jesus name.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are always speaking to us through your word, the Holy Spirit and your true sons. Please Lord, teach me to recognize your words so well so that I will not be a victim of false instructions from the multitude. Please guide and guard my steps o Lord in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
