God often sends advance instructions and warnings concerning situations that you may not have encountered yet. The boldness with which we take on life’s assignments, endeavors or even storms is a function of the guidance that we have received. The Bible says that God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. It guides our immediate steps and helps brighten the path ahead. In today’s Bible reading, while the Israelites were still on the journey to the promised land of Canaan, God was giving Moses instructions about how plagues in the buildings will be treated.  So there was clarity on what to do when those situations show up. Sometimes like the light to our path, instructions are well in advance and at other times like the lamp to our feet and the voice that the Lord promises that we will hear telling us where to turn, the instructions may be in the instance. Regardless of when it’s given, it is key that we are able to receive it and tap into it. 

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are intentional about the situations of my life. Please Lord open my eyes to see, my ear to hear and my inner mind to comprehend your instructions over my life and assignments so that I don’t stumble around in the dark in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
