Hearing from God?

“Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” Psalm 28:1-2, 7 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/psa.28.1-2,7.kjv

Hearing from God?

It is dangerous to live without the presence and instructions of God. The psalmist in today’s reading acknowledges that God’s silence may make him end up in the pit. In a related psalm the Bible says “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”…. So, it’s not really about the specific situation that you are in per se…. It’s about the one who is leading you through it. And so when we are walking according to His instructions we are assured that all things are working together for our good. Even the seemingly unpleasant processes. So, the question today is: Do you hear from God? Do you know how he talks to you? Are you still hearing from Him or are you running faster than his leading? If yes, let your heart rejoice. Rest assured that he is working it all out for your good. Halleluyah!!!

Prayer: Lord, I cry out to you… Please do not be silent unto me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
