His Word won't return to Him empty

“O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still. How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.” Jeremiah 47:6-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.47.6-7.kjv

His Word won't return to Him empty

The word of the Lord is powerful. The Bible tells us in the book of Isaiah that the word that goes out of God’s mouth would not return to him empty but must complete the desire of God and the purpose for which it has been sent. This is why it is important that we are on the right side of God and do his will so that the words that he will speak to us will be peace and not war.  In the Bible reading today, God had described to Jeremiah how he was going to deal with the Philistines. After all the detailed punishment, there was confirmation of the fact that no matter how bad the punishment was, the sword of the Lord was not going to rest because the Lord had sent it on that assignment. Once again, seek to receive the pronouncement of blessings from God because it is impossible to withstand his wrath.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because your word is yes and amen. Please Lord we come humbly before you, we ask that your word speaks peace and healing to our lives and our lands. Please Lord let your mercy prevail over judgement in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
