How Bold are you?

“When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: This I know; for God is for me. In God will I praise his word: In the LORD will I praise his word. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.” Psalm 56:9-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.56.9-11.kjv

How Bold are you?

The Bible asks a very critical question, if God be for us who can be against us? It’s one thing to run into the protective hands of God from time to time to be saved. However, it is much more rewarding to be branded for God. Recognized by God as his own and so he is always ready to defend you because any one who comes against you comes against the Lord. This was the principle employed by king Jehoshaphat when the armies were coming against him. He was not really asking God to help him, he was asking God to fight God’s battle because the attack of the enemies was an insult to the God who had branded the people as his inheritance.  We know what happened because he got victory without lifting a hand. The psalmist in today’s Bible reading acknowledges this by saying that he doesn’t care what man can do to him because he has a big God who is for him. So, the question today is: Can you boldly call upon God to fight the challenges in your life? Is God for you?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the alpha and omega, the holy one of Israel. Father, please examine my heart and purge me of any iniquity that would not qualify for me to be called your own. Please receive me as your own and take on all my life’s challenges in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
