How connected are you?
“Can the rush grow up without mire? Can the flag grow without water? Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, It withereth before any other herb. So are the paths of all that forget God; And the hypocrite's hope shall perish: Whose hope shall be cut off, And whose trust shall be a spider's web. He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: He shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.” Job 8:11-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.8.11-15.kjv

Are you constantly connected to your source? A local adage says that “a river that forgets its source will dry up”. This is corroborated in the Bible reading today. We are told that the path of the person that forgets God is like that a plant that withers off. No matter how large we grow, we need our sustenance, pretty much like a tree that does not get water and nutrients will ultimately dry off even if it takes some time. As you go about your activities today, take time to reflect and verify that your connection to the way, the truth and the life is still intact. Because therein lies the source for good living and thriving.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Father, I seek you afresh please let my connection in you remain intact and let my life thrive in the place of worship 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
