How do you measure success?
“And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself, and come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.” Mark 15:28-31 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.15.28-31.kjv

Be careful how you measure success. The things of the Spirit are like foolishness to the natural man. First of all God’s words must surely come to pass as seen in the Bible reading today. The story around Jesus’s death was highlighted as a fulfillment of the scripture even up to the company in which he died. A profound part of the Bible reading excerpt is how the natural men looked in pity or contempt at Jesus because in their eyes they saw an end. What they did not realize is that one of the most profound things since creation had just happened. Jesus had paid the ultimate price to redeem us to the Father but their minds could not comprehend it. The fullness of what has been done will probably be understood when we get to Heaven but even as a minimum, the fact that the message of Jesus is still being told and embraced as a global movement many centuries latter is a tip of the iceberg and yet when they saw him lying on the cross they thought that he was finished. This is a message to us as well to be careful in how we judge what God has done or is doing. His words are yes and amen. He watches over his words to bring it to pass. We don’t always have to understand it but we need to trust him completely and follow his commandments in total obedience. When we do that, our minds will be unable to comprehend the extent of his interventions. This is why the Bible says that ears have not heard and eyes have not seen, nor the mind able to understand what God has in stock for those who love him. Stay tuned to heaven’s frequency and don’t be deceived by false measures.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for your promises to us as your children. Lord, we trust you and lean on you completely. Please do all that you have said you will do and let the world be shocked by the magnitude of your intervention in and around us in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
