God is vested in making crooked ways straight and removing obstacles on the path of his children because access is critical. On the other side of access lies the treasures that we seek and much more. Often, as human beings we are so focused on the treasures that we sometimes forget to invest in looking at the access. When God wants to bless a person, he provides sight so that you can see the things that others may be blindsided to, he provides instructions to guide you on the way and then he pulls down barriers to create unfettered access.  This is because some of the true blessings are not a one time affair. They require a continuous coming and going to thrive fully. Hence, we must focus of access and walk with God as he pulls down barriers because on the other side of access lies deep treasures as seen in the Bible reading today. When the paths are made straight and the gates and bars pulled down then the hidden riches are revealed and there is access to the treasures that have been covered by darkness as you gain sight through divine guidance.  If in doubt about the importance of access, think about queen Esther. If the king had not lifted the scepter to grant access, she would have been dead along with the promise of Israel that she was to intercede for. So, do you recognize the access that you need to be able to get into the treasures that have been prepared for you? Ask God for insights today and be prepared to walk the journey under his guidance.
