Do you love God? It alll starts with love. A true heart of worship and obedience in the service of God starts with genuine love for our creator. The one who first loved us while we were sinners. So much so that he gave his only begotten son as a sacrifice to reconcile us back to the him. Jesus said in the Bible that the fist and greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind.  In today’s Bible reading, the two and half tribes of Israel that were on the other side of Jordan were reminded of this by Joshua as they were returning to their possessions after helping the rest of Israel to come into their inheritance. He reminded them of the commandments from Moses to love God, walk in his ways, keep his commandments and to serve him while cleaving. When you love God, it will be hard to sin against him. When you love God then you will care about what matters to him, spreading the gospel of salvation. Do you love God? 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the author of love. Thank you for showing us indescribable love. Thank you for being mindful of us. Please Lord, teach me to love you and to live in your ways. Let the benefits of a love relationship with you be evident in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
