Is Christ your anchor?

“The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.” Psalm 16:5-9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.16.5-9.kjv

Is Christ your anchor?

What is your anchor in the midst of life’s stormy gale? The popular hymn says “We have an anchor that keeps the soul steadfast and sure while the billows roll…”. Such is the position of the psalmist in the Bible reading today where he says that he has set the Lord before him always so he cannot be moved. There is probably nothing as alarming and discomforting in a raging storm than for your perceived anchor to come loose. A false sense of safety now dashed at the most critical times. The Lord Jesus Christ is an anchor that is super dependable. One who carries you when the journey of life prevents you from taking the next step. Are you connected? He is available but you must fasten up by meeting the terms of the connection. Choose wisely.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you have been our help in ages past and our hope for years to come. I put my hands in your hands, please lead me Lord and carry even unto my old age like you have promised 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
