Is God's Pleasure your delight?
“Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. It is a wonderful thing to be blessed by God. The Bible tells us that the blessings of God makes rich and adds no sorrows to it. It’s the complete kind of blessing. In today’s Bible reading, God asks Moses to instruct Aaron and the priests to bless the Israelites. The prayers were simple but profound. It highlights the importance of waiting on God’s blessings and to bring pleasure to him because when his face shines upon you, it comes with uncommon peace because everything that can be a heartburn is settled by God. The assurance of God’s presence and name upon a person trumps any kind of riches that anyone else can offer. Are you prioritizing God’s pleasure?
