Is God with you?
“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:” Psalm 8:2-6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.8.2-6.kjv

A popular song says “when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done for me, my very soul shall shout Halleluyah!!!”. Indeed when we pause and take stock then we know that God deserves to be praised with every breath that we take. The Psalmist does that in the Bible reading today. He describes the awesome majesty and capabilities of our God as shown by all the things that we see around us including the natural elements like mountains gingerly crafted by God. Yet with all that majesty, God is mindful of man. God grants us dominion over the works of his hands. He is indeed deserving of more than any praise that we can offer. Question today though is that: Is the Lord in your corner? Is he an ally? It is important that God is indeed in our corner as our dominion is tied to our association with him because the Bible says to us that without Him we can do nothing. It would be such a shame to be dominated by the very things that we have been designed to dominate. Get your ways right with God and continue to bask in the care and dominion available to you from God.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for being mindful of me. Thank you for granting me dominion. Please help me to walk in the fullness of the benefits that you have made available to me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
