Is your fire burning?

โ€œAnd the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.โ€ Leviticus 6:12-13 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/lev.6.12-13.NKJV

Is your fire burning?

Is the fire on your altar burning? Is it burning consistently? Is there a continuous connection with the owner of the sacrifice on the altar, the Almighty God? Those are critical questions that a believer must ask. In todayโ€™s Bible reading,, God was providing instructions to Moses about the burnt offering and commanded that the fire must always be on the altar and it must not go out, the priests must always feed it with wood daily to keep the fire aglow.ย  The Bible tells us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice. The fire in the temple of our hearts must be kept burning. Burning to remove impurities such as sin, doubt, pride and other blemishes in our lives. Burning to purify us through the word and the fire of the Holyspirit. Are you keeping the fire alive? Be reminded that being lukewarm is not a great idea because God says he would spew those out because he would prefer that you are cold or hot. Revisit your altar of fellowship and worship today. Light the fire and keep in burning.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for the constant call to come up higher to come into a relationship and constant fellowship with you. Lord I receive the grace to remain burning for you. Let my life flow from the purity that comes from a divine partnership with you in Jesus name ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ.
