Is your Love for God sincere?

“And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.” Job 2:3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.2.3.kjv

Is your Love for God sincere?

The Bible asks in Mark 8:35.. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?…” and lists a couple of examples. The scriptures goes on to affirm in a later verse that nothing shall separate us. In the Bible reading today, we see God continue his boast about Job despite all the issues that had befallen Job. He was proud of him as a true worshipper. Job had a unique relationship with God that was not hinged on just benefits. It was based on a true revelation of God and not one blinded by the gifts received from God. So question for you today is … Do you know God for who he is? Or are you anchored only to his benefits to the extent that you are quick to disconnect and willing to renounce at the slightest challenges?  While it may not be visible to us, God is constantly doing his assessments of his creature and he is looking for those that he can boast of. Those who know that He is God regardless of the situations and that He is God always.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I acknowledge you for who you are. Please Lord, grant me a deeper revelation and knowledge of you so that my worship will be anchored to a true fellowship with you so that you can be proud of me always 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
