Joining the twenty four elders in worship?
โThe four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.โ Revelation 4:10-11 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/rev.4.10-11.kjv
There is the saying that goes ... โGive honor to whom honor is dueโ.. Who else deserves the greatest honor that the one who created the Heavens and the earth including you and I. Most importantly, we were created to bring pleasure to him. So no matter our life journey, accolades, accomplishments, everything must bring pleasure to God. The question is what have we been given that we have now exalted above the giver? We must retrace our steps and join the twenty four elders in heaven to worship God by acknowledging his Lordship and laying down all of our crowns before him by putting Him and his will first in all we do..
Prayer: Dear God, as I go about my activities, help me to fulfill my primary assignment here on earth by bringing glory and pleasure to you ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ
