Seed, Time and Harvest
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.” Hosea 10:12-13 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/hos.10.12-13.kjv

The Bible tells us that as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not seize. It is such a powerful principle that applies to all aspects of life, physical, mental, spiritual and even in our relationships. In the Bible reading today, we are told that sowing righteousness brings about mercy while sowing wickedness yields iniquity and judgement. The Lord says that he will have mercy upon whom he will have mercy but we are being shown a pathway that lines us up to be recipients of that mercy. It is living in total obedience to his will and instructions - living righteously. Living righteously starts with seeking God. So, what is your appetite for a walk with God and seeking to know his word? It is an indicator of the mercy that may or may not be coming your way. Choose right.
Prayer: Dear God thank you because you are righteous in all your ways. Lord, as we seek you, please teach us your ways and give us the enablement to do your wills so that your mercy will make a difference in our lives in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
