Service, a door to divine connection
“Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:” Genesis 40:13-14 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/gen.40.13-14.kjv
Divine connections in the place of service… The Bible says “A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men” (Prov 18:16)…. In today’s reading, Joseph had interpreted a dream for Pharaoh’s butler that had been in Prison with him. First off, he had been serving them (the butler and baker) when they were put in prison and so that created access for him to order his giftings to help interpret their dreams. He had asked that the butler return the favor by putting in good words for him to get him out of the prison. However the butler forgot as soon as he left the prison, but the seed had been sown. And so when there was a national problem when Pharaoh himself now needed to have his dream interpreted, the butler who had inner access to the King offered Joseph to come interprete the dream and that was what led to the confirmation of his own dreams of many years before then. As a reminder “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”Gal 6:9. Often your divine encounter is in the place of service. According to the Bible, some have entertained angels and did not even know it.(Heb 13:2)
Prayer: Dear God, I receive grace to continue in the place of service with my kingdom gifting. Let me experience divine connections to my place of glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
