Certain kingdom instructions are often met with a sense of skepticism or at least with significant caution .... One of those is the instruction to ‘Give’.... Think of it though.... He created the world and everything in it and he technically does not need that which he is asking of you to make him wealthy or ratify his existence.. Instead it is often a test of obedience and your willingness to yield a portion of that which you have been given. Another interesting reason is that those acts set you up for more. Think of a pipe through which water rushes, it is typically clean because there is always a flow through and as the water goes out even more is added. If you block a potion of the same pipe, it either starts to slow down the source of water and then gradually the settled water starts to be slimy and is of no use; or if the pressure of the water is high such a pipe bursts - again making it useless. Give is not always about money, it could be your time, your talents, your kind words, your prayers, your passions and everything else that heaven has deposited in you that points the glory back to God. As you go about your day and week, think about opportunities to Give something that will give God pleasure.... Be a blessing to someone today and in due time there shall be a manifold return unto you so that you have yet more to Give....!!!
