The seeds or the fruits - short vs long-cycle blessings?
“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold, So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.” 1 Kings 10:14, 23-25 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ki.10.14-25.kjv
Wisdom is the principal things as the Bible says and in all they getting, get understanding. We see in the Bible reading today that the wisdom of God upon Solomon became a magnet for riches of the highest order. Kings and Queens were drawn from far and near to him to hear his wisdom. They always can bearing gifts so the wisest decision clearly that Solomon made was to ask God for wisdom from the purity of heart in his quest to lead God’s people aright. We see a similar situation in Joseph whose gift ensured that protocols were broken to make an Isrealite Prime minister in Egypt - the highest position in the land after Pharaoh. So what are you asking God for today? The seed that brings bountiful and exponential harvest? Or the fruits which are only available for a season and then die off? Choose wisely!!!
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your love always and for being mindful of me. Please Lord, I ask afresh for the seed of wisdom. Please grant me uncommon wisdom. Make me a solution provider in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
