Walk into God's Victory
“The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian.” Isaiah 9:2, 4 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/isa.9.2-4.NKJV

He came that the yoke might be broken and that we should have peace. Peace from our oppressors, peace from the darkness that pervades, peace from the terrors of darkness. He came to establish a new government in which those who come under it overcome the world. In the Bible reading today, prophet Isaiah prophesies of the coming of Christ and the benefits that come with his arrival into the world. First of which is light, vision, clarity of our true state that then creates the momentum to step out of the wretchedness that darkness has imposed into a newness of life in the light of his countenance. In addition, he came to break the rod of the oppressors to which our generational fathers had signed us off to through sin and the yokes that seem hard to break. He came with the grace to live above sin. O what great benefits. The question though is: Are you leveraging these benefits that are accruable to you or are you leaving your benefits locked away while you continue voluntarily under the yoke of the oppressors? Why don’t you step into the benefits starting with the word that God offers as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path and then you see the horizon of benefits that have been stamped to you as a child of God. Step into your victory today. Christ paid the price already!!!
Prayer: Dear God thank you for dying to redeem me from the law of sin and death. Please Lord I step afresh into the freedom that your light offers. Please help me to see and to live in the fullness of life that you have bought for me on the cross of Calvary in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
