What are you sowing?

“The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: But he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: But to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.” Proverbs 11:17-18 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.11.17-18.kjv

What are you sowing?

The Bible tells us that whatsoever a person sows is what he/she will reap. That is why the Bible reading today tells us that the person who is merciful does good to his own soul and the wicked troubles his own flesh. We have further confirmation in the Bible verse that says that Blessed are the merciful because they will receive mercy. Hence, what you do when it comes to mercy is a strong indication of what you will receive. It is an investment that has a sure reward.  Sometimes, the rewards may not come in the exact same form in which it has been invested such as with trees whose seeds appear different from the eventual fruit. There are people who are experiencing open doors because they were merciful to those who did not have the capacity to repay them. The seed spoke for them and yielded fruits in uncommon ways. So, do you want mercy? Then be merciful.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed a merciful and gracious God. Father, I commit myself into your hands afresh, please open my eyes to see the fertile grounds that I must sow the seeds of mercy.. Please accept my deeds of mercy Lord and transform it into a bountiful harvest of mercy in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
