What do you confess?

“And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.” 2 Kings 4:27 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ki.4.27.kjv

What do you confess?

The words of our mouth can be the evidence of our faith. The Bible tells us that “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. In the Bible reading today, the Shunamite woman whom Elisha had prayed to God to give a child after many years of barrenness had now lost that child. However, the sequence of events that followed were critical for the restoration of the child. She did not assume that Elisha would already know. She put the child on his bed and would not be deterred by anyone, even her husband, until she got to the prophet. When asked what was going on, she said it was well.  She saved her petitions until she got to the prophet, she did not allow discouragement because she did not throw a pity party. In the end, the king of Glory showed up and the child was brought back to life. What are you confessing over that dead situation in your life? What is your attitude to it? Take it to the one who is able to do things that are humanly impossible - our God - and see him turn things around for you. Confess unto salvation.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I acknowledge that you are the Alpha and Omega. The omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. I confess that you are Lord over every situation of my life. I receive victory in you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
