What do you feed your mind on?

โ€œConcerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.โ€ Jeremiah 49:23-24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.49.23-24.kjv

What do you feed your mind on?

What do you feed your heart with? The Bible tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence because out of it proceeds the issues of life. In guarding our hearts, it is important to protect the channels to our heart, what we see and what we hear. The Bible says that good news strengthens the bones.ย  In the Bible reading today, the people of Damascus were already weary and feeble ahead of the arrival of the armies of their enemies because of the evil tidings that they have heard. This is a weapon of the enemy that causes doubt and distress in our heart. He feeds us all sorts of news that weakens our defense. So once again how are you guarding your heart through what you listen to?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and loving kindness. Thank you because you are good and your mercies endures for ever. Dear Lord, I choose joy and my heart trusts in you. Please come through for me in every situation of my life in Jesus name ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ.
