What is God saying?

“Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.” Isaiah 7:5-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.7.5-7.kjv

What is God saying?

The Bible tells us that surely the enemies would gather but not by God and so those that gather against the beloved of God will fall for their sake. Hence, it is important that we are not fazed by the gathering but instead to be concerned about what God’s verdict is for that situation. Someone who mastered the art of asking God was David who would typically test with God if it was ok to go into specific battles. In the Bible reading today, the king of Judah was bothered because the kings of Israel and Syria were coming to fight with him.  However, God sent his prophet Isaiah to him with a message of peace. His verdict was “it shall not stand”. It was however left to the king Ahaz to believe it. What issues are you facing or what dust in gathering on the horizon? It is important that you are more focused on what God says and your standing in God because one with God would always be a majority. Do you know what God is saying concerning your situation?

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you because you are the mighty one in battle, our strong and dependable tower. Lord I look unto you afresh. Help me to please you and let every enemy that is gathered against me bow to the supremacy of the God on my inside in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
