What powers you?

“Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.” Isaiah 10:15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.10.15.kjv

What powers you?

You must always recognize the source of your power and action. Often, I see industrial fans working and the air flow is so strong that it can blow light objects off if not carefully secured. However as powerful as the industrial fan is, once the socket that is supplying it power is turned off, it cannot do anything. Even a feather can sit comfortable on the surface of the fan without being blown away.  Such is the importance of the source, the Almighty God, to anyone that is being used by him to do exploits or even to carry out judgement on others. In the Bible reading today, in response to what the Assyrians that God was using to deal with Israel because of their disobedience were now thinking, God used the analogy of an axe boasting against the one who is using it. Always remember that for by strength shall no man prevail.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for making us vessels in your hands. I acknowledge your lordship afresh Lord. Please Lord, let me know be a discarded vessel in your hands in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
