What side are you on?
“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:7-9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/nam.1.7-9.kjv

What side of God’s mercies are you on? The impact of the show of God’s mercies varies by the camp that an individual pitches his/her tent in. The Bible reading today tells us that God is a stronghold in the day of trouble only for those that trust in him. On the flip side, however he makes an utter end of the wicked. So while God’s mercies are absolute, the measure of which you receive varies. While God was saving the Israelites at the Red Sea by his mercies, that same mercies consumed the Egyptians that dared to hold back those whom God had set free. Weigh your actions and choices to make sure that they don’t put on collision course with the Almighty God of mercies.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are plenteous in mercy. Please Lord help me to continue to be a favorable recipient of your mercies. Deliver me from any acts of carelessness, association or intentionality that is placing me on collision course with you. Please have mercy on me for your name sake 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
