What will Heaven say about you?
“What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. The true definition of life and impact of a life is the record that heaven carries for such an individual. We are asked a critical question in the Bible of “What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul?”. It is a comparison of corruptible vs incorruptible gain. The Bible reading today emphasizes the vanity of worldly activities and value measures stating that generations come and go but the earth remains and there is truly nothing radically different in the cycles of life. So the question for you today is “What is the measure of the value of your life”?, “What does heaven say about you”? At the end of life, when the scores will be settled, you want to be sure that you have been answering the right question in life’s examination and that you have in fact been answering the right question correctly. Evaluate yourself today.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and love towards us. Thank you for sending your son to die for us. Please Lord, as I navigate through life, help me through your word and the Holy Spirit to make choices to ensure that my heaven score meets your expectation and that I get the incorruptible crown of glory at the end of it all in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
