Where do you stand?

“A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease. O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.” Isaiah 21:2, 10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.21.2-10.kjv

Where do you stand?

In the book of Ezekiel, God spoke to his prophet and said that he had appointed him as a watchman over the house of Israel and whatsoever he heard from God he was meant to declare to the people. As children of God in a generation that is distracted and deafened to spiritual frequency, it is important that we take our place as watchmen and declare to those in our sphere of influence that which God communicates to us so that they can be saved from judgement.  In the Bible reading today, prophet Isaiah talks about a strong vision that he received that left him in painful fear but he went ahead to declare that which he had heard from God. A watchman has a delicate duty because the Bible tells us that if you do not warn a person that is going astray then their blood will be asked of you. However, if you warn them and they still choose to do what they want then you are free. This is so important to God that we see in the Bible how he ochestrated a major disruption on Jonah’s journey because he refused to go declare a prophecy at Nineveh. Are you taking your stand? Are you sounding the warning? It is a preservation to deliver on your assignment as a watchman.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your faithfulness and kindness always. Thank you because you make a way of escape for us as your creation. Please Lord, help me to see my assignment and my target audience and give me the grace to take my stand in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
