Where lies your trust?
”When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain; For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.“ Isaiah 57:13, 15, 20 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.57.13-20.kjv

The Bible tells us that those that put their trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken but endures for ever. The Bible reading today starts off by talking about those that put their trust in men and false companies and how they would not find their support system because they will fizzle with the wind. However, those that trust in God will possess the land. The Bible tells us that God invites us to sit at his right hand till he makes all our enemies our footstool. He, however, calls out the specs of those who are invited into his holy mountain in today’s text. They are those who are contrite and of a humble spirit. On the contrary, there is confirmation of a lack of peace for the wicked. So the choice is yours, peace and prosperity, or confusion and lack of rest? Work on your heart.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you make the heavens your throne and the earth your footstool and yet you are mindful of us your children. I come before you afresh today, please show me your ways and teach me your paths so that I can walk in then and thrive from the benefits of a life in which you are well pleased in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
