Who are you choosing above God?

“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.” Job 42:10-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.42.10-11.kjv

Who are you choosing above God?

The Bible says to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things will be added unto us. It is a critical survival skill to understand the priorities of our relationships. In the Bible reading today, we see that after God restored Job, his former acquaintances were back to now comfort him after he had regained grounds. Often in life, we deprioritize God for our other relationships only to find that the credit on those relationships are only as good as what is sustained by God. So, choose wisely today. Please God or please the world? The scales are tipped depending on where your choices are.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a reliable, dependable father. I choose you afresh today, please come through for me and show to the world that one with you is indeed a majority 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
