Kingdom battles are collective efforts and corporate warfare and annointing is critical. In the Bible reading today, as the Israelites were getting ready to enter into the promised land on the other side of Jordan, some of the tribes saw that the land on their side of Jordan was great for their cattle. They, therefore,approached Moses to give them their inheritance on that side of Jordan ahead of entering into the actual promise. Moses brought to their remembrance how they spent so many years in the wilderness because of the discouragement that the initial scouts of the promised land caused for the rest of the people and the judgement that God brought.  This was looking like a replay happening again so close to the promise. There was the risk of discouragement for the rest of the people which could send them into another spiral of murmuring and God’s anger. However, in this case, the Reubenites and others committed to not entering into their own rest until they had fought side by side to get the land for their brethren. So, the question for you is: Are you entering into your rest early and leaving others around you stranded? Are you fighting the battle of faith with them side by side? Are you a source of encouragement to others or a discouragement?  Note that the repercussions of the sins of your discouraged brethren could affect you if you rest early. The collective sin of a people impact the quality of lives of everyone. Don’t rest early. Encourage someone on their journey until there is a collective resting. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for your word around collective warfare. Please open my eyes to see those around me that I should be lifting up their hands and give me the grace to do. Help us to come into collective victory 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
