Who are your advisers? The Bible says that he who walks with the wise will be wise and the companion of fools will be destroyed. It is therefore important that your advise comes from the wise else you may be in a worse place if your advice comes from inappropriate quarters. The Bible reading today highlights the importance of receiving instructions as it preserves.  However, it also highlights the importance of getting the right instructions. It warns one to stay away from instructions that causes one to err from the words of knowledge. The key then is to test every advice received against the standards of God’s words. Also, what is the lifestyle of the one who is giving the advice? Except in very rare circumstances, a bad tree will produce bad fruits. Be careful of your source of knowledge and instructions. It can make or mar.
