who do you seek for Help?
“But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron?” 2 Kings 1:3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ki.1.3.kjv

Where are you seeking for help and answers? Availability does not always translate to utility. It can be a frustrating endeavor when you are searching for something and yet it was close by and you were blindsided to it. In the Bible reading today, the successive kings in Isreal had drifted so far away from God such that when the current king Ahaziah had a fall, he sent his men to go to a strange god to ask if he will recover. Well, the Almighty God through his servant Elijah intercepted the message and scolded him. A nation so dear to God’s heart was now seeking answers from small gods despite having access to the Omniscient God. Rather than humbling themselves and repenting, they would rather dig themselves deeper into the mess that they had put themselves in. Have you become so desperate that you are willing to get answers from just about anywhere? It’s time for a retrace. His arms are open wide but we must repent and turn back to him to get the benefits of clarity, guidance and redemption available in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being mindful of us. Thank you for your presence that makes a way where there seems to be no way. Father, I seek you afresh, please accept me and restore me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
