Who have you put your trust in?
“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.17.8.kjv

Where lies your trust? In man or in God? The Bible tells us that those that put their trust in God are like Mount Zion that can never be moved, but endure forever. Compete trust in God provides a divine covering that overrides any external challenges as seen in the Bible Reading today. We are told that the person that trusts God is fruitful even in a prevailing drought situation. They are like a tree planted by the rivers of water that are divinely sustained regardless of the external indices. God’s promise to a child of God is not the absence of challenges but the assurance of his presence to carry his children on Eagles wings through the challenges. Note that thriving in the midst of challenges is a clear data point of divine help and it points the glory to God. So, regardless of what is happening around you, what is most important is the status of your anchor to the king of glory. Be sure that it is rock solid and if so then rest assured that God has you covered.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are our ever-present help in times of needs. Thank you for the assurance of your presence. Please Lord, as I yield completely to you, guide me through life and cause me to thrive regardless of everything happening around me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
