Who is in your circle?

“A wise man is strong; Yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: And in multitude of counsellors there is safety. Wisdom is too high for a fool: He openeth not his mouth in the gate.” Proverbs 24:5-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.24.7.kjv

Who is in your circle?

Where is your voice typically heard? Is it in the coucil of the wise and elderly at the gate? Or is it heard in the council of jokers? The Bible reading today highlights the importance of wisdom and how it translates to strength for the wise. However, it goes on to highlight the fact that wisdom is too high for a fool. It also states that the fool does not open his mouth in the gate. This is because they are unable to contribute to serious matters because they have refused to pay the price of wisdom.  The text also highlights the fact that in the multitude of counselors there is safety. That is why the Bible tells us that the person that walks with the wise will be wise but the one who keeps company with fools will be destroyed. So, ask yourself today who is in your circle. There may be a need for a relocation of circle.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the only wise God. The all-sufficient one. Please Lord help me to be wise and let the wisdom translate to strength in all portions of my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
