Where is your refuge and with whom or what are you covenanted? The superiority of the one who makes an agreement with you determines the strength of it and who can break it. In the book of psalms 139, the psalmist describes the omnipotent and omnipresent God. The one who darkness cannot hide anything from. The one from whose presence you cannot run because he sees even the innermost thoughts of the heart. Hence, it would be the rational choice to take refuge in God.  However, the Bible reading today describes a group of people who stay confident that they have an agreement will hell and death and so they feel protected. First off, there is no agreement with the devil and his cohorts that does not have a dangerous clause to take more back from the person. Secondly, at the presence of a higher power, the Lord God, even death surrenders. Hence, the Lord laughs at them saying even their agreement with death is cancelled and they will be impacted by the scourge through the land.  Again, this reminds us that the one place where we can have eternal peace and rest is under the coverage of the Almighty God. So, are you under his coverage? Holiness and righteous living are the terms of the a//greement. Choose wisely.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being an ever present help in times of need. Lord I come humbly to you once again. Please help me. Cover me with your presence in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
