Will he count you faithful?
“Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed, that I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.” Nehemiah 7:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/neh.7.1-2.kjv

What does Heaven’s records say about you? The Bible tells us that he that is faithful in little will be made Lord of many. In the Bible reading today, when the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem was completed, someone was selected to be in charge and his credentials were that he was faithful and that he feared God greatly. If the records were to be pulled for you on the assignments that have been committed into your hands, would God say “Well done my faithful servant!”? Or would it be recorded that you despised the days of little beginning? The point of assignment is not when you start to set the records straight, the works are done in advance. If your records are not convincing today, why don’t you take a step back and ask God for mercy and retrace your ways into the center of his will. Remember that God’s eyes run to and fro to show himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect before him.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for the assignments that you commit into my hands. Father, please have mercy for any way I may not be living up to your expectations. Please restore me and let me reap the benefits of a life in which you are well pleased 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
