Will you accept the offer?

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 1:18-20 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.1.18-20.kjv

Will you accept the offer?

The Bible reading today reminds us of the offer of redemption that God gives to sinners. The catch however is that you have to take the offer in willingness and obedience. If you don’t take the offer then you have written your own destiny because there is no confusion in terms of the outcome of a continued life of iniquity and sin. It’s destruction This is similar to the story of the prodigal son who had degenerated to the point of eating pigs food.  He took the decision to go back to the father only to meet the warm embrace of his father. If he had chosen otherwise, regardless of what was possible with his father, he would have died as a wretched man in a foreign land. God’s offer of salvation and restoration is still open today. The outcomes are not driven by where you are now but by the choice that you make to either accept the invitation to come and reason together or whether you decide to stay put because you feel that you cannot be accepted by God.  Why don’t you take the step towards God today. Eternal bliss awaits you on the other side of that decision.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your unconditional love towards me. Thank you for your offer of salvation and redemption. Lord I draw near to you. Please reason with me. Open my eyes to see what needs to change in me and let me thrive in the renewed fellowship with you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
