Will you answer the Call?
“The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:2-3, 8-9, 14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.22.2-14.kjv

Many indeed are called but few are chosen, according to the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a call into the glory and blessing within the palace of God’s fellowship and presence. Would you head the call? Or are you prioritizing less consequential things over the benefits of the kingdom fellowship? When you do come as well, do you come prepared? Or do you approach the kingdom like you are doing God a favor by being there? The Bible reading today is a parable of a king who set up a wedding ceremony, called out to his invited guests, who declined because they were busy with other things or outrightly uninterested despite several calls. Then when the gates were thrown open to others, one came unworthily to the event and was thrown out into outer darkness. We must always be conscious that the one who has called us to dine is the ruler of heavens and the earth, whose throne is heaven and the earth his footstool. Never forget that. Come before his throne of grace with the right heart and you would receive grace and everything else that come from the glorious presence of God.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for the continuous bidding to come before your throne of grace. As I approach Lord, please transform me and let my life be changed thereby in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
