It is so sweet to be dedicated to the Lord and to be in his ‘inner circle’. One benefit of that proximity is that he attends to all that concerns you, even to prayer points that you haven’t raised. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus was visiting with Simon. Simon’s mother-in-law was sick but no one told Jesus about it. However by virtue of him being in Simon’s house, Simon received an unsolicited miracle which was the seed of great deliverance in his community. Many people were healed of diverse sicknesses because Jesus had healed Simon’s mother-in-law and the news spread aboard.  So another benefit of proximity is that you become a channel of God’s glory to the world around you. God is still calling for fellowship and relationship today. Will you yield and enter into his inner circle? It takes sacrifice but the rewards trump the cost any day and any time. If in doubt, ask the local fisherman Peter who thought that he was leaving his means of livelihood when he followed Jesus but we read of him generations later because he yielded. The capacity of God to transform your life is unimaginable. Yield to him today and see the glory that comes thereof.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the glorious God who transforms us from glory to glory as we encounter the mirror of your word and presence. Lord, I yield to you afresh. Give me the grace to stay focused and let your glory be revealed in me for the world to see and glorify you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
