Stand with God always, he delivers. Apostle Paul knew this hence his saying in the book of Philippians that for him to live is Christ and to die is gain. He was willing to sacrifice his life for the beauty of the truth that he had found in the service of God. In the Bible reading today, we also see Daniel take a stand in the fellowship of his maker even in the face of threat of death by a staged attempt by his competitors in Babylon.  An excellent spirit had been found in Daniel and the king was so pleased with him that he wanted to make him the overall administrator of the land which did not sit well with the other princes and presidents in the land. However, they could not find anything to accuse him of except his faith so they attacked that knowing that he would not bulge in his worship of God.  We know that Daniel continued his worship more openly despite the risk of death but the one who conquered death used the situation as one more datapoint to show forth his glory to the world. The question for you is: Do you know the God you serve? Are you willing to stand for him despite the odds? Trust him, he shows up and in a big way.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Almighty and all-sufficient God. You have said that you will not share your glory with anyone. Please lord give me courage to stand with you always and let the world know that I serve a living God 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
