You can't hide from God
“Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?” Isaiah 29:15-16 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.29.15-16.kjv
There is no hiding place from the Almighty God who created you and I and searches even into the deepest thoughts of the heart. The Bible reading today speaks about those who believe that they can hide their acts in the dark and their thoughts from God. They are likened to the clay who then turns around at the potter who made it to deny the capability of the potter. The Bible tells us that the foundation of the Lord remains sure. He know those that are his. He cannot be mocked by appearances. He searches the deepest intents of the heart. So, if there is anything at all that we must be diligent in guarding, it should be our hearts because the Bible tells us of a king who did all the right things but from a wrong intent and it did not count for him. Search your heart and keep your heart. It’s an open book before God.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the one who sees the deepest intents of our heart and rule in the affairs of men. I come humbly before your today. Please purify my heart and let it be acceptable unto you. Let my life please you completely. Let me benefit from your pleasure always in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
