Our God is able to defy the odds to make possible what seems impossible once the condition of obedience has been made. The obedience to carry out the unusual precursor instruction is evidence of faith in God’s supernatural abilities. And, without faith it is impossible to please God. In the Bible reading today, the kings of Isreal, Judah and Edom had gathered their men to go fight the king of Moab. However, they had an immediate problem, they were likely going to die of thirst before getting to the war front.  They sought God for instruction and under the unction of God, Elisha instructed them to dig ditches all over the valley and even though there would be no wind or rain, the valley was going to be full of water. How funny can it be that they use the last of their strength to dig ditches without any indication of rain. Well, they did and the valley was filled with water. In addition, the water solved multiple problems, it quenched their thirst and also created a mirage for the enemies who lost their guard and came into the valley. Well, the rest is history, the battle was won.  Are you receiving instructions and confirmation from God that seems impossible to accomplish to the human brain? Well, trust God and do your part. Execute the instruction and let God do the rest. He says that we should draw near to him and he will draw near to us. However, God’s step size is exponential when compared to ours. You stand to gain more by stepping out. Step out in faith.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your promises of uncommon victory. I receive the grace to step out in faith so that you can step towards me with exponential victory assured in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
