Launch out into your victory

“If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.” 2 Kings 7:4-5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ki.7.4-5.kjv

 Launch out into your victory

Often, in life there are victories that have been won for us, doors that have been opened, but that we must make the move to come into the full manifestation of the glory that is available to us. We see this in the Bible reading today, the four lepers by the gate of Samaria had come to the point where they told themselves that one way or another they might be dead men from hunger so they might as well go to the camp of the Syrians. They were surprised at what they found. The Syrians had fled their camp whereas Isreal was still living in the fear that they were under siege by the Syrians.  Elisha had prophesied the previous day that there was to be a massive turnaround in the situation of Isreal to the point that it was not logically understandable. But imagine if God had won the victory for them and because of delay, some of their neighbors stumbled on the spoils before them. They would not be walking in the victory that God had made available. In fact, when the lepers returned with the good news, the King to whom the prophecy was told the previous day still did not believe. He assumed that it was an ambush. Thankfully, the situation was so bad in Samaria that he was willing to send out his remaining horses and some men to go verify in case it was true.  Has God said it to you? Has he told you that your long standing issues are over? Don’t continue to cower in the valley of the shadow of death when the main source of the terror may already be eliminated. Trust God and step out in faith. His words will never fail.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for always being there for me. I depend on you Lord, please deliver me again and strengthen my faith to enter into the fullness of your deliverance in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
