Still on the topic of faith... often on the journey towards the fulfillment of God’s purpose for our lives, we suffer affliction and if that is not bad enough, in those times we get counterfeit offers of momentary pleasures to trade off our eternal glory. At those times we need to be reminded of God’s words about our light momentary affliction working in us a far more exceeding weight of glory. And so even if at those times the promise looks far-fetched or not worth much, be reminded that the reason you get the ‘juicy’ offer of compromise is because the offerer knows the weight of the promise you carry. Keep the faith!!! Right beyond that seemingly insurmountable corner of challenges is the prize and cheer of supporters... Draw strength from the HolySpirit and the destination will be glorious... Halleluyah!!!!

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your assurance of a hope and a future and also of your presence through the journey. Strengthen my faith through the light afflictions that I may receive the promise 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
