A Heart of Service
“And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. Heaven’s assessment of your service and kingdom gifts are based on the ratio of what you have been given. In the parable of the talent, the person who returned absolutely two talents and the one who returned 5 talents got the same reward. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus spotlighted a story of a woman who gave what would now be called her widow’s mite. Jesus ranked her giving more highly than those who gave absolutely more than hers but whose were not sacrificial. Your little from a heart of sacrifice makes meaning to God. Are you giving your widow’s mite quality of service, financial giving and priority amongst others?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you own the cattle on the thousand hills. Thank you for your blessings in my life. Lord, please help me to be disciplined in giving back to the kingdom 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
